After settling in, our first Hong Kong meal was high grade vegetarian lunch at Live Cafe, an amazing veg spot underneath the world's longest escalator.
We then walked down the hill to our local wine shop. Inside the proprietor gave us a thickly accented multiple choice test to decide which wine would be the best. In each description of 5 wines or so he always used the line "top quality". We left with two bottles and after our 3 minute walk got to drinking a glass of the white on our rooftop patio while plotting our next exploits. Jack hammers thundering, apparently construction only stops in Hong Kong on Sundays, we enjoyed our own kind of peace <3
